Thinking about my little LISP roguelike right now. I always seem to think about potential and incomplete projects right before i am about to go to sleep.
With respect to the roguelike, i have main character movement, randomly generated obstacles, and collision detection written, all in my own code. This is because i cannot get the CFFI libraries that people normally use for their LISP roguelikes working easily in GUIX, owing to its transactional and atomic packages.
But i do not really need libctod (etc etc) because the game i want to make is a little like minesweeper: you move around on a single screen, growing plants which absorb and dispell pollution. The game arena is meant to be a wasteland which has been polluted by capitalist industry.
Frankly i was surprised with myself that i was able to get as much of it written and successfully running as i could!!
